Dice Art
Recently on ALittleBitWeird they had an incredible piece of tribute art from Frederick McSwain. He created a portrait of the late artist and designer Tobias Wong who died last year. He chose the medium of dice (over 13,00 in fact) to create this amazing piece of art.
He went on quote saying that the choice of the medium was to symbolise the randomness of life.
Appropriate indeed.
It is a fantastic piece and he deserves to be rewarded for such an amazing job.

We love street art at YeahitsPrettyCool because there is nothing better than strolling through the concrete jungle day after day only then to turn a corner and be absorbed into a rainbow of colour, design and awesomeness – the instant smile appears.
The thing that is even more special now is that the artist can then come back and photo archive their piece for their records and share it with those that will appreciate it. It goes from a local audience to an international one with about 10 clicks (including the one that initiates the shutter click).
HDR photography is then just the icing on the already perfect cake. With the ability to emphasize a particular aspect of the piece – you can get a better understanding of the use of colour and the design itself.
We are highlighting the ones we like from the Flickr group and with links back to the actual photo page. Enjoy and share!
