Cool Toys

Now we all love Porsches because ever since we could read and our brother/uncle/dad/friend (I am stereotyping here, so please feel free to insert mum/sister/aunty/etc) gave us a car magazine, most of us have developed some craving to drive at Porsche at some point in our lives.

And I know myself, every minute when I wasn’t outside or watching TV, it was building random stuff with LEGO.

And now an absolute genius has decided to mix LEGO together with Porsche 911 and share it with the world. This is not an official kit either, they have taken the complete premise of LEGO that you can follow the rules, but the real joy comes from mashing it up and creating something amazing all by yourself using the existing pieces.

But what is even more amazing about this project is that it is not just a model, it is fully functional! Sheepo’s LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet was constructed using nearly 3,500 parts, powered by 8 motors. The doors lock, the brake brakes, it has a 7-speed gearbox, and the convertible top hard-top roof and spoiler actually go up and down!

All we can say now is that we are not sure what is more awesome: this or a real 911. You tell us in the comments!

Thanks to UberGizmo LEGO Porsche post for the news!

Freerider SkateCycle

Freerider SkateCycle

It has been a long time, but we are coming back to you with something that is completely awesome that we found at Bless this stuff – a skateboard from the future.

You can actually buy it from Amazon for a $149 (click here for the page) and definitely turn heads compared the regular skateboards we are all used to. And if you think you can’t ride ramps or do any of the usual tricks on one of these things, you would be wrong as the video below proves otherwise:

The company that make these cool futuristic skateboard/skatecycles are Brooklyn Workshop so you should definitely check them out for more information about getting your hands on some of these bad boys.

If you have got one of these, or ever had a turn of riding one, we would love to know what you think in the comments! So leave your thoughts on it now! Right now!
