Etnies Skatepark House

Etnies Skatepark House

As we have mentioned previously on yeahitsprettycool, back in our teenage days we were big fans of skateboarding. Still until this day I have no idea where my skateboard ended up, but I know when I have some spare cash, I am definitely going to get one again.

One thing I do know is that I never owned a skate shoe company, and I don’t think I will have enough money in this lifetime to be able to have a house that is a skatepark.

Pierre Andre Senizergues who owns Etnies skate company however is one of the guys that has enough money to be able to have such a house though, and we are 100% jealous. I couldn’t even get our local government to build us a halfpipe, and this guys has gone and built every teenage skater boy/girl’s dream house.

Lest we forget that timber flooring and feature walls as so in right now (so they tell me), so not only is it completely awesome but it is designer cool as well.

We have got to thank the guys at FastCoDesign for featuring this and definitely deserves props for putting us onto the skatepark house.

July 10, 2010

Kyle Downes has gone and made the coolest retro video game NES controller coffee table known to man.

NES coffee table

Retro video game coffee table for the win!

Back in the day Yeah its Pretty Cool covered it when it was first announced. Since then he has gone ahead and gained worldwide recognition for the project and rightly so.

Unfortunately you cannot go ahead and buy one of these, but what is definitely possible is to try your hand and try to make one yourself! He has supplied some of his working information and tips on getting the wood working just right. Definitely something unique and probably a must have for any of us that are retro video game nerds – YeahitsPrettyCool contributors included.

Check out the video below to see it in action.

And leave a comment – what would you be willing to pay for something like this? We all agreed here around $500 bucks is reasonable, if not a little too cheap.
