With millions of iPads having been sold already and their popularity not dying out anytime soon (I have had mine for over a month and still can’t get enough of it), we thought it would be best to highlight the craziest and coolest iPad holders (not cases!) out there for your precious new device. They range from the practical to the wow so take your pick best for your needs. Some you can actually buy or have installed, whilst others you can marvel at the skill and ability of the design.
iPad Car Holder
I am waiting for someone in my circle of friends to be able to hack their dashboard so we can install one of these into the car. Google Maps on an iPad size screen for the absolute win!
iMac/iPad Hack into Holder
I was so impressed with this at both the originality as well as the cool factor that I started shopping around on ebay for old school iMacs and see if I could do one of these myself. However, I am much more tech than engineering based and wouldn’t even know how to begin to hack it up correctly.

iMac Stand Grip
This is really the most obivious one out of them all. Take the current stand for the larger 24inch iMacs and put a gripping thingamagig (insert the proper name here) and it just appears like you bought a 10inch iMac. Simple yet to the point. With cloud computing, do you really even need a full desktop anymore?

The Arcade Machine Holder
We saved the best until last! This is by far the single most coolest way to keep your iPad, mixing early 80s with 2010. Can life really get any better than old school and new school tech? The answer is no!
The Logitech/Zagg iPad2 Keyboard Case
This is a fantastic idea, it takes the iPad/iPad2 into hybrid laptop type device with this aluminimum holder frame that includes a keyboard. So now you have a cool iPad holder that doubles as a keyboard case and so you have that touchscreen laptop you have always dreamed about!

Retro Typewriter iPad2 Holder – The TouchScreen
This retro cool iPad2 holder takes something from 2011 and transports it all the way back to the 50s. Mixing touch technology with the typewriter – which if you think about it, was one of the first touch devices going around. You touch keys and the pad presses ink onto paper, AND it was portable. What more could you ask for? Well in 2011 you can ask for tablet computing with a retro holder to come back to. The MadMen would be jealous.
